[Chrysler300] white B

It was the left front flex hose that was causing all my braking trouble on the white B---only the second time this has happened to me in almost 40 years of driving 55's---56's----as for the power steering hose, the steering pump started leaking badly just before I was to load the car for the trip to Mi.----I have several rebuilt pumps so I installed one--then discovered it was a 55--which has a different hose fitting and uses a different hose----although I have a couple of nos 55 hoses, I couldn't find one--so I used a later model which worked but was hard to position at steering gear---I developed a small leak on way to show----the hose needed tightened at pump which I did--never looked at other end which moved some causing the hose to get too close to manifold---everyone knows what happened next---car is back on road and I will treat this as another adventure----actually, I was pleased at how good this car performed----first time it hit 55 in decades-----I still had a great time at the show---Johnnie Slayton
