Re: [Chrysler300] G Freeze Plugs



The Brass plugs are made for Marine use. Any well stocked auto parts store
will have them or can get them quickly. They are easier to work with and
"set" better as they are softer than steel, they seem to seal them selves
into the roughness of the machined hole.
I was tought to use only brass 50 years ago and have never had one come out.
Did I write "50 years ago"? Who'd a thunk?
Epoxying them is good insurance.
