Club member Rene' Kroeger of Bondurant, IA has been mentioned favorably 
at this site and I have him scheduled to pick up my C300 in Omaha 
tomorrow (Monday) and bring it to Brentwood, CA (West of Stockton)..  
After which he will be visiting relatives in Santa Barbara.  You may 
contact him by his cell phone 515-314-1942 and might even arrange a 
visit in Santa Barbara  He and his wife transport the units on an open 
trailer behind a Diesel pickup and I am sweating bullets over his 
getting through Nebraska and Colorado without being hailed on.  Hail and 
tornados are even more problematic in the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandle 
this time of year.  He would go right through Amarillo and they got 
blitzed with softball size hail already this month.  That could be the 
wrong way, Corrigan!  But he would be into eastern New Mexico at the end 
of the first day and would probably delay takeoff if hailstorms and /or 
tornados threatened.  My car is insured before he loads it.  I do feel 
very comfortable with Rene' as he has a number of 300's and other 
collector cars and trucks, is sensitive to their care and preservation 
and has been doing this for some time.

When you get a minute, perhaps you'd share some insights into the care 
and feeding of C300's and tell me about yours.  I haven't seen mine yet 
as I had it inspected by friends in Omaha.  Picture attached.

The Airflow sounds like a neat addition to a collection.
