[Chrysler300] Paint Touch-Up Question

I've a few pinhead-to-matchead size paint chips on my 300 F, and I am going
to try to do a paint brush touch up, so that the grey undercoat isn't quite so
glaring on the terra-cotta bodywork. The car is heavily waxed. Can anybody
give me some pointers on how I should prep the chip area so that the touchup
paint will adhere? Thanks in advance. Terry McTaggart
