RE: [Chrysler300] Tow Vehicles

Bob,
Am a little sorry that you've given up the idea of the Dakota. It might not
be an ideal tow vehicle for the weight of a trailer and 300, but it
definitely will do it as we towed our in-restoration 300C from San Antonio
to upper Minnesota last year with our 2001 quadcab Dakota with 4.7 engine,
equalizer hitch and tow pacikage. It had no power troubles at all but we
did have to limit it to 60 mph most of the time because it tended to
fishtail a little as it eased up to 65. Think it would and will do fine if
we use both an equalizer hitch and hook up the brakes.
As for non-towing, it's a great vehicle to drive.
