Re: [Chrysler300] Tow Vehicles

Hello All,

I tried to rent a U-Haul car trailer to tow a 300B. The company said
the trailer was not capable to haul a car that size and would not rent
it to me. Borrowed a friends roll back instead.

The rental people are definately cautious about the use of of their
equipment. I remember an instance where they would not rent out a car
trailer unless their dual rear wheel van vehicle was going to tow it. I
remember this as being a company safety policy issue. I do know that a
strictly bumper pull (no weight distribution equipment) and significant full
size vehicle load behind an otherwise unloaded pickup will not be
particularly stable on the highway.
