Re: [Chrysler300] enclosed car trailer

Brad,
I agree that 24 feet is the way to go but also don't forget about the width when ordering. Some trailers come in standard width with a "wide body" optional. The extra 6 or 8 inches is a good thing when driving in our "wide bodies" between the wheel well covers. This will give you about a 6 inch "cushion" of distance between your rockers and wheel wells . Also front bumper widths clear better when passing by on loading, especially when doing alone.

I have a schematic that I drew when ordering my 24 footer (Wells Cargo) for left and right side door placements, hold down rings, and roof vents that have worked well for my Chryslers '56-'61 . (Left side door more critical for placement). Let me know if you would want a copy . I could mail or scan a copy and email it.

Welcome to the trailer "Club" and good luck.
