Re: 300F original  magazine articles - here's a few that I know of:

Sportscar Graphic (by Motor Trend) - June 1960 issue.  4 page article by
Wayne Thoms - looks like a black 300F, automatic.

Hot Rod - April 1960 issue.  6 page article by Ray Brock ; either a red or
terracotta automatic 300F  (black and white pictures)

Popular Science - April 1960 issue  -  by Ken Fermoyle, 300F 4-speed white
hardtop,  3+ pages

Mechanix Illustrated - May 1960 issue - 3+ pages - Tom McCahill with white
300F hardtop automatic .
