Folks,
I had a 1965 Dodge Coronet 2 dr sedan "stripper" that was ordered new with a
383 and 4 speed (delivered to the previous owner by Mr. Norm's Grand
Spaulding Dodge, no less) and it had the trunion style driveshaft.
It may have been an early '65 car, but I do not know, as I bought it in May
of 1969, and by that time it had a '67 440HP in it.

My 63 Dodge has one and I had a 65 Dodge Dart Wagon that had one. My
sons 66 Charger has the open type. Maybe late 1965 was the change over
time. Gary Barker
