[Chrysler300] 57C carpet/vinyl power seat track 'booties'

Hello again fellow restorers.
Another question for the group.
The carpet kit for the 57 appears to come with vinyl 'booties' which have holes in them which correspond to the bolts for the power seat track mechanism. I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do with them. Do they go on under the seat mechanism and somehow wrap up around to conceal it? are they put on first, then carpet on top? or carpet first, then these booties?
Any help appreciated.
John
