Nuts & bolts

Hi all
Today I was cleaning up the steering box to frame bolts for my 300C and noticed that I had one mis-matched, with a different head marking. No problem I thought, I'll just grab one from a '57 Plymouth parts car I have. After getting covered in grease and dirt it turns out these have different markings again, so I get under the other C I have (more grease and dirt) , and yep, you guessed it, they're %#*!# different again!
So I have "N" stamped bolts in the project C
"S" " " in the Plymouth
"DPCD" " " in the C driver
Any idea what's "right"? Did Chrysler change their hardware suppliers throughout the model year?
I take a look over the car and see a heap of different brand names/ markings, TR, S,DPCD......
My Ch*vy mates (yes I do have some) come over and comment on using the correct bolts......... but then again all they have to do is order a complete "kit" of new bolts!

Owen
