Re: [Chrysler300] Armor-all warning - Windshield Rubber

The original Armor-all has been rumored to destroy leather, vinyl, and rubber over time. I understand if it isn't used regularely it will dry out the upholstery etc. and it will eventually crack prematurely. There are newer Armor-all products on the market now.......maybe they've corrected the problem?

I personally use saddle soap and leather cream conditioner on my cars for a nice satin lustre. I find a good leather conditioner will really do a nice job of softening old dry leather and vinyl.

The only time I ever use Armor-all or any product like it is when I want my tires to shine on my daily driver.......even then there are better products than Armor-all that actually last and don't turn the tires brown after a few days.

Just my two cents. Ryan
