Hi Group, A little while back there were questions concerning
re-chroming ect. As we all know, chrome plating can get quite expensive
but without good chrome the resto project would be useless. I had the
chrome redone for my G and it was pretty good. But sometimes there are
pieces that CAN'T be rechromed because of the original material used to
make the part(plastic) ect. I came across a service that if I would't
have seen it--I wouldn't believe it. I took the bezel for the rear seat
medallion on my G that was pitted to no end and I had this process
done. WOW it looked like chrome and it looked beautiful. I just wanted
to pass this info on to everyone so in case you need it, it's available.
Go to <outbind://2/www.coatofchrome.com> www.coatofchrome.com pricing
is about the same as real chrome but at least it can be done where
chrome plating can't. 300ly, Larry Meixner 300G
