RE: [Chrysler300] Gas Tanks

Mine had the same problem, could never "fill'r up."
When the tank was pulled, there were many small rust holes, top of tank.
Tank proved to be too weak for repair.
Lucky to find a replacement after extensive search.
There is a guy in downstate IL that can produce tanks, using yours to copy,
yet this would not make for a concours replacement.

Subject: [Chrysler300] Gas Tanks

Hi,

I remember there was some discussion recently about gas tanks for our letter

cars. Mine has started leaking when full. Can these be sealed somehow
(preferably from the outside), or must they be replaced? Is there a new
tank that
will fit a K? Or does someone have a good used one they don't need?

Thanks,

George Clineman
