George, I recently had one for my 62 redone at a local radiator shop.
The removal and reinstallation is easy and the cost was very reasonable.
One word of caution - there is a "jumper clip" that connects the tank
outlet to the fuel line. This part "jumps" over the short piece of
rubber fuel line and is needed to provide the "ground" that enables the
fuel gauge sending unit to work. My tank was cleaned, resealed on the
inside and recoated on the outside and it looks original.  Doug

Hi,

I remember there was some discussion recently about gas tanks for our
letter 
cars.  Mine has started leaking when full.  Can these be sealed somehow 
(preferably from the outside), or must they be replaced?  Is there a new
tank that 
will fit a K?  Or does someone have a good used one they don't need?
