Re: [Chrysler300] best last resort re difficult ebay sellers?

I would be leery to give a difficult seller a money order or cash transfer. With a Paypal or credit card payment, you do have some hope of compensation if the merchandise does not arrive or is not as advertised. Even someone with a clean feedback record, I could still lose some sleep while I wait. An example could be a vendor who sold you something, you send cash or check, he files bankruptcy, you are now just another creditor. Or perhaps just do send for whatever reason, who do you call for help, the local police?

It is too easy to set up a Paypal account. A seller who does not have one, could be a problem. I know however that many sellers hate to pay Paypal their ounce(pound?) of flesh, but I still would be quite cautious.

Thanks to John Hertog and others re suggestions of how to try to get
difficult ebay sellers to complete deals they perhaps were not happy with
(ie maybe wanted to get (fair bit?) more than an item closed at?! )

It seems suggestion is the magic word/trick is to mentionthat 'f' word -
  "feedback".
After near two weeks of failing to reply/provide total price/invoice me,
just 8 hours after me mentioning I hoped nothing was wrong his end, and if
he gave no response, maybe all I could do was ask/mention this in any
feedback I left. Suddenly I get a price, and then an invoice - so I have
got a Money Order, put it in Airmail, now I wait 5-8 days after say 4-6 days
for it to get to him, and see if item arrives.

He has been listed with ebay for quite a few years, and never has had
negative feedback - don't know if this 'f' trick would work on sellers who
  don't have 100% positive feedback.

Local news fron SA - encountered my 2nd only aussie (new) 300C in peak hour
traffic yesterday - white, followed it for about 5 mins, old dude driving it
fairly sedately. They standout, but they are not the original 300C, if you
know what I mean?! SA is not real wealthy re other larger aussie states, so
  maybe they more common there?

Christopher in Adelaide South Australia, where they are suggesting it the
perfect place to dump/store world's nuclear waste (the Brits tested atom
bombs on our outback locals back in the early 50s, so I suppose this is
  progress, better than that?!)
