...which leads to these questions:

Are the 'casting numbers' that the seller lists in the auction sufficient to
determine that these are 300C carbs, assuming that the brass tag is missing
?

Is there anyone reproducing the brass tag, assuming that this determination
can be made ?

Do the judges look for the brass tags when judging, and if so, how much is
deducted for a missing tag ?

Our temp at 3pm was only 6° less than Phoenix, with the heat index about
equal. Too bad we can't have their winters as well...
