What a great idea, thanks for sharing it with me.  I have a parts K Silver Edition that I am dismantling and it will come in handy.  I just wish I had this info when changing hinges on a 69 Pont Bonneville.  If you know how long and heavy those hoods were (not to mention the thickness of those springs), you know what a dangerous job it is.
