RE: [Chrysler300] Polished windshield?

When polishing a windshield using the Eastwood abrasives and felt pad on a
power drill, they advise users to be extra careful not to linger in one spot
too long or use heavy pressure, which will build up too much heat (easy to
do accidentally!) and can suddenly crack and destroy the windshield due to
the large temperature differential between the work site and the nearby
untouched areas.

  Check out Eastwood for their glass polishing kit. It will work fine if
scratches are not to deep. I have used very successfully a couple of times
on side window scratches. However be aware that any such polishing works by
basically taking the mountains down to the level of the valleys. This of
course can/will lead to some visual distortion when viewing thru such
