Regarding the torqueflite leakage problem

Time for George to weigh in on this problem. He has rebuilt all of mine, two
57's and one 58 and I can store all winter without any leakage...I will say
that the 57 300 would on occasion spit up the fill tube but I replaced the
missing dip stick seal with one off of the new Chrysler trans. It slips from the
end of the dip stick up to the cap. Now I don't get the spit up anymore
either.. Marv
