Hi Bruce and all,

As a follow-up to my discourse on The Forward Look, it is obvious that italics don't show up in the group emails.  Sorry for the confusion when I said that I typed it that way, but didn't look that way.

Bruce, you point is a good one.  They did use The Forward Look logo in ads, but not on the cars at the beginning.  Maybe the slogan was a last minute decision.  The 1956 cars did feature the logo all over the place, but not the '55s.

  I imagine that part of the confusion as to whether The
  Forward Look started in 1955 or 1956 may be related to
  trim on the vehicles. My brother still has a 1956
  Plymouth Belvedere that has Forward Look emblems on
  the rear fenders, but the 1955 Plymouths did not have
  them.
