Hi Tomas, 

I don't think Chrysler ever painted anything "high gloss" black; even NOS
parts are somewhere between semi-gloss and gloss.  Most people would decide
to paint the radiator top tank and side gloss black, however - it does look
better. If you really want as close to factory correct as you can, then find
some paint which is 75%- 80% gloss (assuming that semi-gloss would be 50%
gloss and high gloss would be 100%) .  I personally found that Eastwood's
"Chassis Black" in spraycan has a finish as close to correct as anything, in
my opinion.  Hope this helps

I have a questions about paint on a 1961 300 G 1. Radiator should it be
gloss black?
