Ron & group,

I paid $255 for a maintenance-free dry-cell group 27 battery from Antique Auto Battery (they wanted $165 for a lead-acid type).  Picked it up at Spring Carlisle.  I guess your personal wants or tastes dictate what price you'll pay.  Compared to the price of my steering wheel and dash pad, it's quite a bargain!

Almost $300 for a battery (including shipping) ???? Woweeee ! I think that's
 record. Even Antique Auto Battery only wants ~130, and to me, even that's
 bit pricey.
