John and all, 

New York is NOT a title state for vehicles built prior to 1973.  Paperwork
is very simple for pre-1973 vehicles. Only a prior registration or a bill of
sale are needed

Ad states that there is no title with this car.  New York IS a title state
so paperwork will most likely be a hassle.
