[Chrysler300] 300G convertible question

Hi to all,

Question pertaining to 1961 convertible top frame, more specifically the two
arms (right and left) that attach at one end to the hydraulic pistons: are
these arms supposed to be relatively straight, or do they have a pretty
strange, bent shape to them? Same question for the second set of arms that
attach to the above, and go forward, attaching to the body behind the
armrest covers. Thanks
