[Chrysler300] More on Oil

All concerned should get a hold of Bill Anderson's article in the 8/30/07 edition of old cars weekly. Anderson is a PE and occassionally writes for several publications. As he also points the problem with newer oils the current SM is the steady reduction in ZDDP, an organo zinc anti wear additive. If you cannot get a hold of the article, the bottom line is to avoid SH-SM grades or that read energy conserving in the donut. The bottom line is to use CI-4 HD for diesel engines or if you stick to the the energy conserving add I/2 oz  (no more) of GM EOS per quart of oil.
