Hello 300'ly to al!
I'll chime in and let you know that I'm chill'n with R-12 in my C, for original factory front A/C and Old Air Products rear A/C connected in the same loop. Just ran the unit this pm when we had a beautiful 73 degree day! When I purchased Mopsy 5 years ago she was on 134A and not as cold as going back to R-12. My friend Gary Parker (one of our sponsors for the Lawton Meet and proprietor of the Pit Stop Oil Change Shop where we held our Concours judging) has an A/C license and can get the R-12 (recycled). I stocked up on 3 lbs for grins this fall for $90. The A/C works fabulously with the R-12. ROB KERN

Hi All:
Well, this is about the 4th time I've put in my 2 cents worth on this subject.
I use FRIGC FR-12 in my F and '76 Nyer. No problems whatsoever and it really
cools. No need to change out equipment nor buy special equipment, such as
meters, etc., to charge. just evacuate, add a couple of ounces of POE oil and
charge. (Caution, do follow directions explicitly on how much to charge.
Overcharging caused the efficiency to drop.) For more information, search
Goggle under FRIGC FR-12. There are several sites available with good information.
FRGC FR-12 exhibits the same cooling curve as R-12. Several degrees above
the R-134 curve.
Try it, you might like it.
