[Chrysler300] Shocks

Hi,

I know that virtually all the club members who have written about shocks
recommend KYB. My question is, are these recommended because of better
handling? I'm more interested in a comfortable ride than in cornering ability.
However, I'm having trouble finding an alternative brand. If KYBs make a hard or
stiff ride, does anyone know of another brand that would be softer (and
maybe cheaper)? I've only been able to find rear shocks at Monroe, no fronts.

Thanks,

George Clineman
