Re: [Chrysler300] 1961 300 G convertible AC

Thomas,

I just went out to look at my G convertible. In my opinion, these lines are unpainted. The exceptions are the lines that bolt directly to the A/C compressor. These lines appear to be painted black. My car, although ugly, doesn't appear to have ever been worked on in these areas.

Best regards,

Richard Osborne

Hi 300 club member

I have a question about the heater copper pipes going on the middle of the engine from the water pump to the heater unit,
Should they be bare copper or painted black?
The same question about the AC cupper pipes (for the Ac system) bare copper or black
The car is a 1961 Chrysler 300 G Convertible With AC
I hope someone can give me the answer about this I am just in the situation to put this on the car so I am hurry with thise.

Thanks Tomas
