Ray Manzel just dropped off a 1962 Chrysler 300 Sport Coupe with a 3 speed manual transmission I brought on EBay
that from Edwardsville, Mo. The pictures showed a 4 barrel carburetor and it was listed as a 383? Chrysler didn't make a 383 with a 4 barrel carburetor in 1962. The car arrived tonight and was in much better condition than I thought. There was some rust around the front headlights but other than that the car is really in excellent condition.
It has dealer installed Chrysler Airtemp A/C with the correct radiator, 7 blades fan and compressor. Now the good news, S-41 2-23 date. Car was built 3/7/1962. My feelings were right, It is a 413. Couldn't see if it is HP, will check it out tomorrow when I wash and clean up the car. It has (4) "H" wheel covers and the correct "H" rims. It is a one owner car the he brought new.

I will have to depart with several of my other 62's as my wife says I have too many and need to make room. In the next several weeks I will post some pictures of a 1962 300 Sport Convertible that is complete but needing total restoration. There is rust on the floor boards and I will show pictures of all the flaws. Originally White, but painted Gray. It is complete but needs work.

The second car will be a 1962 300 Sport Coupe from California, Black exterior, Red leather interior, 383 engine.
Very solid car. Again, I will post on the clubs web site in a few weeks.

I cannot praise Ray enough, excellent to deal with. I highly recommend him.
