RE: [Chrysler300] Brake pads for 300G

John,

What I mean is how does he know what dimension to arc the shoes to?? Do you
have to send the drums to him to measure (expensive), or does he rely on
dimensions you provide? Every time I've had shoes relined I had to bring
the drums to the guy doing it so that he could match the two. The arcing
needs to be accurate if you want the best results.

Why with a brake shoe arcing machine of course. An obsolete machine that
produces gobs and gobs of cancer producing asbestos particulate matter. I
gave one away last year because I ran out of room in the garage and it had
to go.

Matt,

Jeff at JC Auto in Lynnwood, WA (425)-672-8324 did the shoes on my G. He's
got the liners (aircraft asbestos I think) and the equipment to turn them.
The turnaround on my car was fast, it was sitting at his front door!!

Hi Group,
I need to change the pads on my G and discovered today that NAPA & Advanced
Auto do not carry the pads. I even referenced the clubs web site and used
the part number listed. NAPA indicated that that number was obsolete.
Advanced could not supply either. Does anyone have a source?
Thank you in advance.
