More on windshield washer pump repair.

For one of our club members I rebuilt a corroded WS washer pump. In a lath I
machined off the base that gets corroded after years in washer fluid. I then
machine a new base from aluminum and epoxy it onto the nipple end. I then
epoxy paint new base and interior of the nipple end to prevent further
corrosion. I have progressive file photos of that rebuild. If one wants to
view them, mail me and I will send photos via e-mail.

  Does anyone have a source for (preferably new) washer pump bodies for the
  57? I have two that look ok from the outside but are badly corroded from
  the inside. You don't see that unless you remove the rubber diaphragm. If
  not, I'll try rebuilding with liquid metal.
