[Chrysler300] Moving on

Moving beyond acrimony into the point of all this (IMHO) March 17, 2009
goes down as the earliest I have ever taken one of my toys out for a
drive  in cold and snowy New England.  It was an unusually warm and
sunny day up here in the land of reason, my beloved Massachusetts,. I
used it to drive my F from its winter home in Connecticut to my garage
just outside Boston.  It was my 1st test of the Chrysler passenger
mufflers that replaced the flowmasters over the winter.  Nice growl
under acceleration and no resonance at highway speeds, success.
Gremlins, speedometer stopped working over the winter, hood decided not
to stay closed and with no tools forced off the highway to the Mobil to
borrow a screw driver a quick adjustment and I was back on the road.
Strange banging noise, guess I need to crawl under this weekend. With no
speedometer I decided to play it safe and drive at the extra legal
speeds encountered in the Mass Pike's passing lane who knows but I
assume 80+ and it was perfect.  All in all a great March day.  Now if I
could only figure out how to make the seats not put my butt to sleep-is
it just me or are seats in these cars ache inspiring (note:I have the
new Goers foam and covers).  I just don't feel old enough to go to the
bead seats-need better idea.  It's spring; let's get on with the joy of
owning these incredible cars shall we?
