Re: [Chrysler300] B

Hello 300 Fans,

My two B's, both originally sold in the Northeast, did not have it. I would
suspect it may have been a dealer option, although I don't "know" that.

Johnnie Slayton (a most knowledgeable 55 & 56 individual), what say you?

Happy Holidays!

      Hi Guys,

I would lay odds that some 300B's had factory under body bitumen type spray
on the hood underside. Seen a few original cars with this treatment. Perhaps
these were later in the 300B run to further reduce noise.

What is the consensus on this?

Regards

Sean

Thanks to all who responded to my questions--- --# 44 is what I was looking
for on the data plate-----as for the hood underside, some folks think that
some things on 300's were done differently than on other Chryslers--- --I
just wanted to know if points would be deducted if the underside of the hood
was painted body color----as Windsors and New yorkers were------Johnnie
