Re: [Chrysler300] Russo Steel auction carnage pics

I went to The RS site on Sunday morning when the auction resumed and saw saome of the damaged cars. It was sickening. I did not see the 300C, as it had likely been removed the day before.
I spoke with Wayne Graefen at the Pavillions on Saturday and he said the 300F had one small dent in a piece of stainless, did not know which piece, otherwise unmarked. Where the 300F was located was in the South tent, about 10 cars from the entrance to the auction tent. That tent lifted up and headed east and landed on the cars at the far end so the 300F was in a good spot to have missed the flying poles and tent stakes. According To Wayne it was removed on Friday.

Noel:

Thanks for the link. Heartbreaking, but a good opportunity for Russo &
Steele and the various insurance companies to help make it right--or not. I
hope news of treatment of the losses is clearly communicated.

I wonder if sellers and buyers have to sign a waiver of liability to put
their vehicles in the auctions?

I just returned from the Phx auctions also. Here's a link below from a
vintage Mustang Club I belong to - many pictures of the Russo and Steele
damaged autos - no pics in this batch, however, of any 300s. In speaking
with some folks yesterday, I heard that Larry Tarantolo's F Special
sustained no damage, but can't confirm, and I didn't have the heart to email
him. I also heard that the Tucker convertible, restored by one of my
partners and his son, did sustain some damage. It was great seeing several
300 Club members down there this weekend.
