Congratulations!  I'm glad I'm not the only one who celebrates the birthdays of special cars.  I had a party complete with cake when my L turned 20 in 1985.  Imagine what the 50th will be in five years.  We all know the cars know it and are proud.  Give Big Yellow a good pat on the fender today.

  Big Yellow turns 50 today!

  Eileen and I will celebrate by either taking a ride to Malibu and cruise
  Pacific Coast Highway, or maybe we will make an appearance at Bob's Big Boy
  in Toluca Lake for the Friday Night Car Show, weather permitting.

  Thanks again to the club and membership for all of your help in the 2½-year
  restoration process. We have now been on the road for 6 trouble-free,
  highly pleasurable years!
