RE: [Chrysler300] PLEASE !....can't we just get along?

At the risk of ticking someone else off I'd like to point out a couple simple facts about this listserve. If you read these posts, you can't help but learn something. Something about your cars, something about your fellow members, and sometimes something about yourself.

I appreciate reading muliple posts with various viewpoints and experiences. The types of details that come out of some of these discussions are important, even if they're boring or trivial to some. (For those of us who chose to participate, we all know alot more about A/C decals than ever before now don't we!)

As an enthusiast and a younger member, I think it's important for the collective wealth of information to be shared with all who are interested in order to keep these brutes running and sort out the facts for future generations. The preservation goes far beyond production numbers, color codes, and the things you read in articles; it's the discussions about little details like frost plugs that make this club relevant and interesting for many.

I can also see where it can become somewhat overwhelming when you don't have an interest in the topic. (This of course is where the delete button applies) Keeping in mind the viewpoints of others, I plan to be a little more selective about my own posts and give more thought to whom I'm responding as I've found myself part of the 'problem' more than once. Often it does become a discussion among a small few, perhaps there might be other ways of managing these discussions? Some other discussion boards that I take part in have discussion threads based on topics or questions. Is this something that's been explored by the powers that be?

Jim,
If I wanted only one answer or only one opinion, I would have asked the kid behind the counter at Auto Zone. I asked this forum because I ALWAYS get not just one, but a multitude of answers, all of which I appreciate. And most, if not all, come from those who I consider to be experts. There are many ideas coming out that I would not have considered, had it not been for this medium. I'm sorry if I pulled back a nub, but I've got to have answers in order to keep my car running. The 300H is not worth having if I can only admire it as it's parked, useless, in my garage. I have been asking questions of this group for over eight years now, and EVERY single time the answers I've received have been a huge help. And in return, I have offered my help to the many who have also posted questions. So instead of getting your panties in a wad, simply hit the freakin' delete key and move on.

To those who have responded to my question, I thank you sincerely !!!!!!!!!!!!

Best regards,
Mark Souders

P.S. you will get this message twice. Sorry Jim.
