[Chrysler300] RE: Late AFB's, Webbers

Sounds like the late AFB's made by Webber. Edlebrock put their name on them. You could remove the tag and only see Webber cast on the side. I did that to my hemi powered Roadster.

The correct engine number is 58N 12781

One more thing, it has 2 Webber four barrels.

  Subject: [Chrysler300] numbers

I am starting to clean up an unusual car I have for a few years. I need help deciphering the various numbers. It is a 1958 Plymouth Hardtop with a Hemi engine with 2x4V

  the engine number: 58 12781

  door : LP 2L ** 4716
Eng compt. tag: SO NO model bt pt TR
  1017 3049 lp2h 252 sxx 154

I know this is the 300 club and I have two a C & F but I thought as unusual as this car is it was worth talking about
. The hemi engine looks like a factory install and not a stuffed in tell tail amateur job. I have had a person who looked at the car tell me he thought it was Canadian. Something about the grill being different. I do not know these cars well enough so I wonder. It is perhaps what they should have built......
