Someone once told me that over 90% of all Mercedes 300SL which were made are still running and driving. The 300SL club regularly commissioned needed parts knowing that everyone would ultimately or eventually need them. This may have been before the Parent found it profitable to build restoration centers around the world.

Question is: How many more model Chrysler 300's (C-B),(c-d-e), (F-G-I),etc. were made? (not to mention New Yorkers' dot dot dot....others);
that we could not get enough behind having everything we need made for sale through the club?? At quantity prices that we all could afford!
Especially as our cars continue to get more valuable.

Hi Keith -

I hadn't heard that the Fins were making windshields for our cars. Are they
from Sweden instead ? Also, does Michael have an asking price, and are they
Solex or Solex/Shaded ? Does he have W453s as well ?

I was thinking that this would be an awesome project for the club to take
on, now that PPG is out of the loop.
