Re: Fwd: [Chrysler300] calendars???

I have forwarded all your comments to RJ. He is currently in Yuma, AZ for Lockheed-Martin and will be for the week. He is very aware of graphic art design and what is involved for a quality calendar. He said he would be interested if a sound business case and commitment can be made. We are very leary about doing this and have been for the past 4 years. Having hosted 2 meets and will be hosting 2 more over the next two years I have given a lot of thought about doing special items for the meet beyond common practice to not have the club get stuck with expense and a large unsold inventory, e.g. Neck Ties, Vests, T-shirts and Sweat Shirts. It is one thing for people to say they are interested in a marketing survey and then for them to come through with a financial commitment to carry through the project. For my next 2 meets (Fall, 2011 and Fall, 2012) there will only be a dash plaque and maybe a Sweat Shirt designed. The other thing with RJ is that he will only do a calendar of cars that he has photographed. Thanks for considering RJ for the job, but a calendar for 2011 is out of the question for him. Maybe the club could underwrite part of that to make it affordable to the
club members.
