[Chrysler300] 300 Chickens

I believe Narve has it right. Virgil Exner did openly and creatively criticize the ’62 styling changes and later paid the penalty. Such is life in the big corporations. One day it’s chicken, the next day plucked chicken feathers. Creative/artistic types seem to be at the greatest risk.

I feel Virgil contributed greatly to the success of Chryslers in general and 300’s specifically for many years, but no good deed goes unpunished.

As far as I can recall, it was Virgil calling the 62 a ”Plucked Chicken”
