RE: [Chrysler300] 1957 C Motor Mounts

Others may know more than me, but I think all the (300C type/other similar uses) rubber centre parts are not fixed, can be turned to sit off centre if required?!

Christopher Australia - 2inches of rain here in Adelaide today, gas prices now at/above $1.50 a litre for 90 octance, 97 octane another 20c a litre more, and our 'bright' female Prime Minister in last fortnight says we need an additional Carbon Tax on all such things to make us a better/smarter Country, able to compete better in the future !!!??? Yeah, please explain who is the bright one??!! We are a vast Country of huge distances, a car essential.

I'm looking for a source to either rebuild or replace the motor mounts on my 300 C. Apparently two types were made for 57 ; one with an open top , insulator stud centered, and the second type, with a closed top and the insulator stud is off centered. I have the later "closed top" version. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Doug Gifford Pueblo, Colo.
