A color change is a big decision and one that should not be taken lightly
with a Letter Car 300.  The original color will be forever on record with
the Club, as well as on your trim code plate.  A color change will cause a
point deduction if you have the car judged in a 300 concours event.  Also,
unless you do everything, including under hood , door jams, trunk, it will
not look right, further affecting the value of the car.
 
Having said that, as Jack said, if you decide to change the color, I would
stick to what the car was offered in from the factory only.  Non original
colors would be the least desirable change to consider.

Hello Group. I brought my G a few months ago.It's off white and I'm
struggling with a color change decision. Red is what I'd love it to be. My
wife and friends say leave it white. Even strangers who stop to admire her
frown on a color change when asked. I'd like to ultimately show her and
white cars just do'nt seem to stand out like some of the others. I'd like to
stay true to the game,but white is... Has anyone ever seen a nice light
