[Chrysler300] Color changes

Group,
I've been reading the various comments on the proposed possible change of color on a letter car, and finally must voice my own opinion.
It was very courageous to ask for our opinions. However, it should not become a voting issue. Any individual ought to make their own decision based on their own desires for the car--IF THEY CAN BE HONEST WITH THEMSELVES. I suspect the latter case can be very hard to do.
Light colored cars (as in white, etc) seemingly do not do well in popularly judged auto events regardless of how well restored they are, etc. Any individual who wishes to do well in such events, if that is important or may become important, should recognize that a bright, warm color will generally garner more attention and popular votes.
If the desire is to be absolutely correct, and maybe be judged in concours type events, the car should remain its orginal color.
Finally, if the desire is to enjoy the car for yourself everyday, then make it the color you really love, and do it "right". Our opinions should only serve to allow balance to aid a personal decision.
Thanks for providing my opportunity to elucidate.
Tim Tomlinson
