  Sorry I did not finish the thought - If you are looking at Radials, 
best bet is P235/75R14 unless you are able to switch to 15 inch wheels 
where there are lots more tires in the right size range. Not much left 
bigger than P215/75R14 (or equivalent P225/70R14 if you prefer 70 
series) which are equivalent interchange to the old 8.00-14 which would 
be small for a 300D.
