RE: [Chrysler300] Norm Thatcher - Bonneville 300D (& Intro)

Hello Warren,

Thank you for your reply. I have attempted to trace ancestry of Norm and
his 2 top mechanics. The first mechanic was a Mr. Norm Sthiles. I was able
to get into contact with a family member in Nevada, however Mr. Sthiles died
last June. I also dug for information on Bill LaRoy. He was the main guy
doing hands on work on this car and on later Norm Thatcher cars. I finally
discovered his brother's widow, who put me in contact with her son. Sadly
Bill passed away a few years ago as well. As of yet the families haven't
been able to contribute and information. but I am still trying.

Norm Thatcher's family is next. I did some basic searches, but nothing
solid yet. It was easier to track the other families due to the more
distinct names. I have spent a ton of hours on the phone so far but I think
it will pay off in the end. Even confirming their passing is at least a
start. I have found a reference to Norm by a Sherwood K, but even with the
club directory he is proving hard to get a hold of. I am hoping maybe
someone else who lived in California during this time knows something about
all this.

I think the more lures I cast out the better my chances, which is why I
have posted this on 3 different forums, the mailing list and have sent out
mailers.

  Thanks again Warren!

Rich had mentioned finding a link on the HAMB forum. Here is a link to
the thread I started on the HAMB forum about a week or two ago:

If anyone has any info, please don't hesitate!!!!!!!

  THANKS!

  Josh
