Re: [Chrysler300] 300F key blanks

I've purchased a few sets of keys from

www.jessersclassickeys.com

over the years. He advertises in the club news.

My results have been mixed. One note of caution - the original style blanks
are expensive. BE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN they are exactly like your functional
key before you cut the blanks. Many keys look exact at first glance, but
there are side grooves that look similar, but they have very minor
differences in length and depth that isn't readily apparent without some
concentrated scrutiny.

I've given functional keys to Jesser to copy at shows, he did the cutting,
and the copies failed to work because the blanks were different. The
differences were apparent after close inspection, but they sure looked
identical at first glance.
Rather than verifying the blank, he blamed me for giving him the wrong
vehicle information. (?)

I caution you that if you buy the blanks through the mail, and then cut them
locally, you may be out your money if they don't work. At the very least, if
you buy two sets of blanks, cut only one set at a time and make sure that
set works first.

I learned the hard way
