RE: [Chrysler300] Mopar Battery

Yep, I agree with Keith.

At least in the Upper Midwest, Walmart stocks group 27 "Ever Start"
batteries with a black case. They are both inexpensive and seem to be good
quality with a long warranty. The one I traded in was 10 years old and still
functioning. Use of a battery tender at least once a month for 24 hrs or so
also really lengthens battery life.

Unless you're showing for points, original-style batteries don't last
long enough to make them worth $314.

I like the solution in my car. Some member (sorry I forgot just who)
sells Mopar battery stickers, so I just bought a current $100 battery,
peeled off all the original stickers, and put the Mopar ones on. Looks
great. You just don't end up with the fill caps on top for a "correct"
look. (And apparently they don't make those fake filler cap tops for
the group 27 battery).
