Hmmmmm.... It says, aluminum and iron castings. I think the aluminum part is the actual piston, where the originals may have been brass. The actual body should be cast iron. May be worth double checking, though. I'm sure RockAuto would volunteer that info.

  The description indicated the body is aluminum, for several reasons-including weight and corrosion resistance.  That's a new one for me.

  Raybestos is good quality, not the off-brand junk you find on ebay. 1 1/8" 
  bore is correct. Buy it !
