One thing I'd check, Lance, is to see that the chrome rods on the hydraulic top pistons aren't rusty. If they are rusty, they probably will be frozen stuck or of they move when you turn the top power switch, they will at least tear up the seals in the pistons.

They are behind the interior rear side panels...you should be able to see them plainly if you look down where the side parts of the top frame fold into.  I've left my top up too long and the rods are rusty....
